Sunshine State Conference and Blue Frame Technology Launch New and Improved Sunshine State Conference Digital Network

Lexington, KY (August 24, 2018) – The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) announces a partnership with BlueFrame Technology to create the new SSC Digital Network for the 2018-2019 academic year.

One year ago, conference administrators announced the launch of the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network, where, for the first time in league history all video content produced league-wide would be available in one place. This year, league administrators have selected BlueFrame as the official streaming partner for the SSC Digital Network. With BlueFrame, all 11 SSC member institutions and the conference office have a dedicated video portal page where live and archived footage can be easily accessed. Fans can find pristine high-quality video streams of SSC events for free on multiple platforms by visiting SunshineStateConference.tv on a computer or mobile device. In addition to online viewing from the website, games will be accessible to fans through custom-built television apps on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Roku streaming devices. All apps are available now for free download by searching “SSC Digital Network.”

Along with the transition to BlueFrame, SSC administrators expressed value in a unified live stats offering by electing to partner with StatBroadcast® for 2018-19. The SSC and league members will now be able to deliver and distribute real-time statistical information to a variety of different platforms and audiences for free while maintaining a similar look and feel. The partnership with StatBroadcast® includes a conference-wide live scoreboard hosted on the SSC’s website and a central live stats page for all conference events.

Unified moves to BlueFrame and StatBroadcast® position the Sunshine State Conference among the top of NCAA Division II in regards to comprehensive live content offerings.  Fans will be able to find live content on the SSC Digital Network, SSC Live Scoreboard, and SSC Stats Central beginning with a full slate of volleyball matches on August 24th.

“BlueFrame is extremely excited to partner with the Sunshine State Conference,” said Josh Braun, Director of Sales and Customer Service with BlueFrame Technology, “We are looking forward to providing them a fantastic digital network platform and a powerful production solution for branding their broadcasts.”

About the SSC
Founded in 1975, the Sunshine State Conference has risen from a single sport organization to the Division II “Conference of National Champions.” Since its inception, the conference has grown steadily in sports played, membership and national prominence.

Sunshine State Conference schools have won NCAA national championships (102 total) in baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, women’s rowing, men’s and women’s tennis and volleyball. They are nationally recognized in men’s and women’s cross country and men’s and women’s swimming. The first NCAA Division II national championship won by an SSC sponsored school was in the spring of 1978. The Florida Southern College baseball team captured the national crown that year.

Over the last 10 years, the SSC has led all 24 Division II conferences in the NCAA Academic Success Rate. Each year, over 1,500 student-athletes are named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll with GPA’s over 3.20 on a 4.00 scale.

Through a wide range of initiatives, the SSC, its member institutions and student-athletes are actively involved in the Florida community. On a conference-wide basis, the SSC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee participates in an annual community service project at Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida in addition to fundraising efforts conducted annually for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
